The organizer and initiator of the annual event is Novosibirsk State University. “Zolotaya Dolina” brings together the scientific community, universities, industrial enterprises, innovative companies, and government authorities to discuss technological challenges, find solutions for the real economy sector, and launch joint projects.
In 2026, the substantive agenda will focus on three key areas. The first is the capabilities of modern megascience-class research infrastructure, including SKIF, to address industrial challenges. The second is artificial intelligence, big data, and other cross-cutting technologies. The third is interdisciplinary developments that combine competencies from various scientific fields: from bioinformatics and new materials to nuclear medicine and nature-inspired technologies.
The program committee in 2026 is headed by the rector of NSU, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Dmitry Pyshny. It includes representatives of the leadership of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, industrial enterprises and innovative companies, as well as the Council of Rectors of universities in the Novosibirsk Region.
Dmitry Pyshny emphasized:
— It is important for us not only to showcase the capabilities of science and new technologies but also to hear what industry expects from the scientific community today, what tasks it sets for universities and research institutes. The forum’s goal is to build a direct dialogue in which the requests of the real sector lead to concrete research, developments, and joint projects.
This approach defines the logic of the program: universities and research organizations will present their expertise and technological capabilities, while industry representatives will be able to formulate current requests and discuss them directly with research teams.
One of the central events on October 29 will be forecast session “Supercapacities of the scientific infrastructure being created for breakthrough technologies in Russia”. Scientists and industry representatives will discuss the potential of modern research infrastructure for the development of key economic sectors.
A significant part of the program will consist of thematic sections dedicated to specific fields of science and industry. Over the course of two days, there will be open lectures by academicians, and a space for free discussions on scientific and industrial topics will be available.
Sections will be held on October 29 “Microelectronics,” “Energy,” “Technologies for Industry,” as well as “UAVs and Technologies for the Protection of Civil Infrastructure”.
On October 30, work will continue on directions “Medicine and Pharmaceutical Industry”, “Smart City Technologies”, and “Interdisciplinary Technologies: Bioinformatics, New Materials, Nuclear Medicine, Nature-like Technologies.” Section, dedicated to smart city technologies, will be held jointly with the Novosibirsk city administration.
Also, on October 30, there will be panel discussion “Industrial modernization and new requirements for science and education”. The focus will be on the tasks that technological development of enterprises sets before scientific organizations and universities.
Additionally, the program includes a strategic session “AI technologies for addressing public sector challenges”, organized jointly with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Novosibirsk Region, as well as a platform dedicated to artificial intelligence in creative industries and scientific cinema.
Special attention will be given to presenting the capabilities of modern scientific infrastructure for industry. The program includes round table “Siberian Ring Photon Source” and other shared facilities — to Russian enterprises.” Its participants will discuss how unique scientific equipment can be used to solve specific production tasks.
Familiarization with the infrastructure is also provided as part of the excursion program. Participants will be offered SKIF-tour, NSU-tour and CKP tour, allowing one to directly get acquainted with the scientific objects, research centers, and technological capabilities of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center.
Work with the industry will continue within the framework of negotiation sessions, startup presentations for industrial partners, and meetings of the leadership of academic institutes, industrial enterprises, and universities with participation Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District.
A separate partner platform will unite the University and Industry Technology Transfer Centers of Russia. A roundtable will be dedicated to the personnel agenda. “Personnel for the Industry of the Future” with the participation of the Council of Rectors of universities of the Siberian Federal District.
Traditionally, one of the central venues of the “Golden Valley” will be exhibition of technological projects, which will operate on both days. It is planned to present more than 40 developments from various regions of Russia in the fields of artificial intelligence, medicine, robotics, industrial equipment, and other high-tech areas.
For the first time, special attention on the main stage will be given to the practical results of previous forums. Participants will be presented with industrial cases and projects that have developed based on the 2023-2025 events. This will visually demonstrate the results of cooperation initiated at the “Golden Valley” platform. The forum has been held in Novosibirsk Akademgorodok since 2023. In 2025, the forum gathered more than 1500 participants and 120 speakers, and over 40 technological projects were exhibited.
Based on the results Novosibirsk State University has signed the “Golden Valley” 2025. cooperation agreement with the Sistema Charitable Foundation, as well as an agreement with the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov on cooperation in the field of digital medicine.
Over three years, “Golden Valley” has established itself as a platform where professional discussion continues into practical work. In 2026, this approach will be further developed: from demonstrating scientific and technological capabilities and setting tasks from the industry side to finding solutions, forming partnerships, and launching joint projects.
