Many new educational and outreach programs have appeared in Moscow parks and cultural centers. Clubs, sections, and studios are open for schoolchildren. School of the Young Archaeologist opened in in the landscape park “Mitino”. It was created with the support of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. On weekends, children from six years old participate in excavations in a special sandbox, find and clean pottery shards. They also get acquainted with pottery and the operation of a 16th-century printing press.
