The results of the Mayor of Moscow’s grant competition for socially oriented non-profit organizations (NPOs) were summed up in the capital. This was reported by Sergey Sobyanin on his channel on in the messenger “Max”.

reliable partners. They know the needs of Muscovites and offer real solutions. The competition helps the best ideas get funding and benefit the city,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

This year, about 650 applications were received. There were a total of 12 categories — from volunteering to urban innovations. Among the main criteria were significance for the capital, relevance, feasibility, and effectiveness.
“As a result, the expert council selected 205 of the best projects. For the first time, 42 nonprofit organizations will receive grant support,” noted Sergey Sobyanin.
The funding amount ranges from 500 thousand to five million rubles. It depends on the organization’s experience and the scale of the initiative.
Among the winners was the foundation for new technologies in education “Baytik,” which will teach teenagers from the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts 3D modeling and web development, and the association of cultural and business figures “I am a Leader” — it will open a free children’s radio school.
In addition, the list of the best includes the socio-cultural center “Cranes” with the expansion of the esports club “Cyber Nest” in the northwest of the capital, and the autonomous non-profit organization “Digital Volunteers,” whose specialists will teach how to recognize recruitment schemes and protect personal data.
Grant support will also be received by the charitable foundation “Road of Life,” which will provide round-the-clock care for children in hospitals without parents, and the National Association of Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialists — it will assist family members of participants in the special military operation by conducting diagnostics and providing psychological support.
