In the Kommunarka area of the Novomoskovsky Administrative Okrug, the developer has completed the construction of the Laplandia kindergarten with an area of over 4.7 thousand square meters. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Yefimov.

“The three-story building, with an area of 4.7 thousand square meters, is designed for 250 pupils, inside there are 10 groups equipped. On the first floor, a full-cycle technological foodblock and a medical station were placed. The second floor houses musical and gym halls. The third floor is occupied by rooms for developmental activities. The building was adapted for visits by people with limited mobility. The kindergarten has supplemented the existing social infrastructure of the district and has already taken in its first pupils,” said Vladimir Yefimov.

The new kindergarten is located on Kuprin Avenue. Nearby is the Potapovo station of the Sokolnicheskaya metro line, as well as an exit to the section of the Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye Highway, which will ensure the transport accessibility of the facility.

From the outside, the kindergarten building resembles a row of closely connected mountain chalets. Its decoration includes images of a winter forest, a polar owl, and a polar bear. When constructing the roof, an effect of a double-pitched seam metal roof was created. For the facade finishing, materials imitating brick texture were used. The cladding was done in warm shades of beige, brown, gray, and white colors with orange accents.

“The large windows of the building allow a lot of natural light to enter. Nearby, two sports grounds and 10 walking areas for each group were arranged, shrubs were planted, and flower beds were laid out. Shade awnings were also installed here to ensure the comfort of children during walks, as well as play and sports complexes for active activities. Paving slabs were laid on the pedestrian paths, and the active play zones were covered with multicolored rubber crumb with animalistic designs,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy.

Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that in the Solntsevo district they will build school and kindergarten.
