Retail investors continue to invest in Russian corporate bonds (+130 billion rubles), money market BPIFs (+79 billion rubles), and stocks (+29 billion rubles). At the same time, demand for foreign currency from their side has been declining over the past 3 months, according to the latest issue “Financial Markets Risk Review”.

The Bank of Russia begins to publish in this material data on the volume of sales of Russian securities acquired on the basis of permits in accordance with the decrees of the President of the Russian Federation. Over the past 3 months, shares of Russian issuers and international companies were sold for a total of just over 1 billion rubles, which did not have a significant impact on quotations.

As of the end of August, foreign exchange rates remained within the range of fluctuations observed in 2025–2026. OFZ yields did not change significantly. The spreads of corporate bonds to OFZ remained within the range of values for 2026.
