The scale of the Chinese drone industry is clearly reflected in the numbers: as of the end of 2025, 3.287 million drones are registered in China, and the total flight hours for the year amounted to 45.3029 million hours.
The leading position is concentrated not only in a few large corporations: by the end of 2023, the number of Chinese companies engaged in the development of civilian drones exceeded 2,300. China also has numerous manufacturers of aviation equipment, electronic components, batteries, sensors, and digital systems, and close industry cooperation helps reduce costs and accelerate the development of new products.
In Brazil, drones are primarily used for spraying and monitoring agricultural lands, as well as for transporting agricultural products and other cargo.
Currently, a number of Chinese companies already supply drones to the Brazilian market, and many others are seeking partners to enter it. The rapid development of China’s drone industry opens up significant opportunities for Brazil.
