On September 20, an interactive family festival “Orion in Motion” will take place at the “Orion” theme park of attractions at VDNH. Guests of all ages will be able to get acquainted with various types of performing arts, as well as become participants in the show. Admission is free.
At 1:30 PM near the main stage of the Orion theme park, guests will be greeted by stilt walkers. The main event program will begin at 2:00 PM with a dance and light show by the fire and light theater “Pulsar.”
One of the main events of the celebration is the performance by the Russian champion in illusion art, Matvey Volynts. He will present an interactive program during which the audience will be able to participate in the show. Then Vadim Krikorov, a member of the International Association of Illusionists UCM, will take the stage.
Musical and choreographic performances will be presented by the ensemble “Zhemchuzhina”, the production center “Young Artist”, as well as the pop song theater “Mechta”.
In addition, everyone interested will be able to join the “Create a Hit Together with Us” program and become full participants of the big show. The hosts will divide the guests into three groups, each of which will create its own sound element: first, a rhythm is created with claps, then a powerful beat is added, followed by new vocal and noise effects. Layering these parts on top of each other, the hosts will form a unified engaging musical motif that will unite all the guests.
Then there will be a dance battle in which all park visitors can participate. The celebration will end at 18:00 with a group flash mob involving the guests.
The “Orion” theme park opened in June 2023. Today, 27 attractions operate on an area of 17 hectares. The space with a unified space theme is suitable for family recreation. Since its opening, the park has been visited by more than five million people.
In 2025, the family-themed park “Orion” became the winner of the national “Parks of Russia” award in the category “Amusement Park.”
According to the adopted development strategy for VDNH until 2030, the number of attractions in the Orion Park will increase more than threefold. In 2027, it is planned to launch five more attractions — resulting in a total of 30.
