Beijing, April 14 /Xinhua/ — According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, the volume of China’s foreign trade in goods increased by 15 percent year-on-year, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) of the PRC reported on Tuesday.
In January-March, the volume of China’s foreign trade in goods amounted to 11.84 trillion yuan / about 1.73 trillion US dollars, according to departmental data.
In particular, exports increased year-on-year by 11.9 percent to 6.85 trillion yuan, while imports amounted to 4.99 trillion yuan with a growth of 19.6 percent, the General Administration of Customs reported. -0-
