Station “People’s Militia” located along Demyan Bedny Street at the intersection with Marshal Zhukov Avenue. From here, you can transfer to the metro station of the same name on the Large Circle Line (LCL). The main architectural feature consists of two rows of brightly lit columns that smoothly transition into the vaults of the platform hall. The track walls are decorated with decorative panels dedicated to the heroes of the people’s militia, and a red star is placed in the center. The images are done in a unified style, commemorating the historical feats of ordinary people who stood up to defend the Motherland. Another similar 15-meter-long bas-relief is located in the transfer vestibule with an exit to the LCL platform.
Parallel to Marshal Tukhachevsky Street at the intersection with General Karbyshev Boulevard is a new station “General Karbyshev Boulevard”. The concept of the artistic design of the site was developed by the Federal Autonomous Institution “Military Artists Studio” of the Russian Ministry of Defense, with light gray and white tones dominating its design. Eight columns were installed on the platform. They are decorated with artistic reliefs made of glass fiber reinforced concrete, covered with white glossy glaze. The images are dedicated to the development of the engineering troops. On the track walls, you can see a model of the “Gold Star” medal, which was awarded to the Hero of the Soviet Union Dmitry Karbyshev — in his honor, a boulevard and a metro station are named.
“The first section of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line includes five stations. It has improved transport services for more than 550 thousand residents of the capital. All necessary conditions for comfortable travel have been created here: modern ‘Moscow-2026’ trains operate, high-speed mobile communication is available, digital navigation is installed, and convenient transfers to the MCC and three metro lines are provided,” noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The capital’s construction quality standard is ensured by the systematic work of specialists from “Kontrol Moscow.” According to the chairman of the Moscow City State Construction Supervision Committee Anton Slobodchikov, the construction of three stations of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line was carried out under the supervision of the department. Inspectors conducted 20 field inspections and confirmed that the completed work and the materials used complied with the project documentation requirements and approved architectural and urban planning solutions. Specialists from the subordinate Expertise Center (State Budgetary Institution «CEIIS») participated in five control inspections, preparing 399 expert opinions.
