Beijing, September 10 /Xinhua/ — A flotilla of China Coast Guard ships successfully completed a 45-day fishery law enforcement patrol in the open seas of the northern Pacific Ocean, the CCG announced on Wednesday.
A detachment of two BOK ships returned to port on Wednesday after completing patrol. This was the 11th patrol conducted by BOK in the above-mentioned water area, according to a BOK statement.
The patrol was conducted in accordance with the relevant United Nations General Assembly (UN GA) resolutions and international conventions, according to the FSB statement.

During the patrol, the BOK ship detachment intensified surveillance of fishing vessels, conducted a verification of vessel registration data, observed and recorded 95 fishing vessels from various countries, and also completed inspections on board 20 vessels, the statement said.
The ship group helicopters carried out 7 sorties in the open sea as part of law enforcement activities.
The IOC stated that it will continue conducting intensified patrols to ensure compliance with fisheries legislation on the high seas, actively fulfill obligations under the relevant conventions, and play an appropriate role in the effective maintenance of order in the field of high seas fishing.
