Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding the honorary title “Honored Mechanical Engineer of the Russian Federation” to the chief technologist of PJSC KAMAZ, Nail Zamaliyev.
Nail Zamaliyev started working at the automotive giant in 2000 after university and military service. Over 25 years at the company, he progressed from a process engineer at the Automobile Plant to the chief technologist of PJSC KAMAZ, making a significant contribution to the development of the enterprise and the machine-building industry.
Under the leadership of Nail Zamaliyev, the Automotive Plant was modernized as part of the ‘Production Reengineering’ project. This ensured the launch into serial production of the flagship KAMAZ-54901 vehicle and its modifications. Nail Zamaliyev took part in all stages of the development of KAMAZ models and modifications, including vehicles with restyled cabins, families -4308, -6520, -6560, K4, K5, vehicles in gas-powered versions, and the ‘Compass’ family.
Over the past five years, under the leadership of the chief technologist at PJSC “KAMAZ,” project technological methods and processes have been successfully developed and implemented, enabling the overcoming of sanction pressure and ensuring stable operation. The modernization of production and the launch of new directions have created conditions for expanding the vehicle model range, increasing component localization, and producing sanction-resistant trucks. Currently, Nail Zamaliev is leading a large-scale production robotization process.
