In the Kuzminki area of the South-Eastern Administrative Okrug of the capital, two more houses have been built according to renovation program. The total residential area of the buildings is about 22 thousand square meters. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Urban Development Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
The residential complexes are located at: Volgogradsky Prospekt, building 140, block 1 and building 138, block 1.
“The new buildings on Volgogradsky Avenue were erected on the site of three old five-story buildings that were resettled under the renovation program. The living area of the new houses is about 22 thousand square meters, containing 352 apartments with convenient layouts and improved finishes. The buildings were constructed using monolithic technology with reliable materials of Russian production. The load-bearing framework, walls, floors, and columns are made of reinforced concrete, which helps maintain the temperature regime inside: warm in winter and, conversely, cool in the hot summer. The service life of such a building exceeds 100 years. The high density of the concrete and absence of joints improve sound insulation. An optimal microclimate is maintained in the apartments throughout the year, and thanks to adjustable radiators, residents can independently choose a comfortable temperature,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
At all stages of house construction under the renovation program, specialists from “Control of Moscow” monitored the progress of the work. They helped prevent violations and ensured that the objects complied with the project requirements.
“Inspectors from Mosgosstroynadzor conducted eight on-site inspections. Based on the results of the final control and supervisory measures, conclusions were drawn confirming the buildings’ compliance with the project documentation requirements,” noted the chairman of the Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee.
The facades of the new buildings are faced with ceramic bricks. One of the buildings is done in a golden-chocolate color scheme with a light pattern. The eastern side of the second new building is highlighted with burgundy trim, and the facades of the first floor are decorated with volumetric inserts. Thanks to this, both buildings fit organically into the district’s panorama.
All conditions for a comfortable life have been created for future residents. Near the houses, there are public transport stops, educational and medical institutions, shops, and numerous service centers. The Kuzminki Park is located nearby.
The courtyard has been landscaped and improved according to the standards of the renovation program. Common areas are adapted for people with limited mobility in accordance with the barrier-free environment concept.
Earlier, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction, Vladimir Efimov, reported that almost 1,200 city residents have begun relocation under renovation program on Krasnodonskaya Street.

Renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5,176 houses. Sergey Sobyanin instructed to increase the pace of implementation of the renovation program in twice.
