The personnel potential, development of educational cooperation, support for talents and academic mobility of youth were discussed at the plenary session “Human Capital of Russia and Africa: Investments in the Future Partnership,” where the rector of GUU Vladimir Stroev spoke.
The head of our university spoke about the work of the Center coordinating the International Financial Security Movement, which recently opened at the State University of Management and has already organized the Financial Security Olympiad in China.
“Today, more than ever, the idea that unites youth from different countries is important. And the ability to defend oneself and protect others is exactly what can bring together young people from all over the world,” emphasized the rector of GUU.
The continuation of the meeting was a pitch session “Commonwealth of Ideas: Startups in the Field of Financial Security.” Participants presented projects in six categories to the expert jury, which included Vladimir Stroev.
It should be recalled that the State University of Management has been actively participating in the organization of the International Financial Security Olympiad for several years as a member of the International Network Institute in the field of AML/CFT. In 2023, SUM was the operator for conducting preliminary stages in new regions of the Russian Federation, and university representatives received awards for significant contributions to the development of the Olympiad movement; in 2021, SUM student Laman Suleymanova became the winner of the first Olympiad; in 2024, our students became prize-winners of the Olympiad; and in 2025, finalists. Moreover, representatives of our university are involved in the development of the Financial Security Concept of the Russian Federation.
