Islamabad, April 13 /Xin Hua/ — Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Monday expressed optimism about the possibility of resuming negotiations between Iran and the USA, stating that a new round of dialogue is expected soon following recent discussions in Islamabad.
In talks with local media, the minister noted promising chances for continuing the dialogue, describing the overall atmosphere following the negotiations as positive and encouraging.
According to the head of the Pakistani defense department, no negative signals have arisen so far in the negotiations.
H. Asif once again emphasized that Pakistan, along with other countries, continues to support diplomatic efforts and called on both sides to observe the ceasefire regime and strive for conflict resolution through negotiations.
