In Zelenograd since the start of implementation renovation programs eight new apartment buildings were handed over for occupancy. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Yefimov.
“Eight residential buildings with a total living area of over 120 thousand square meters have been handed over for the settlement of participants in the renovation program in the Zelenograd Administrative District of the capital. Thus, there are five such new buildings located in the Kryukovo district, with their total living area amounting to more than 87 thousand square meters. The remaining three buildings are located in Stary Kryukovo, where the living area of the buildings handed over by the city totals more than 34 thousand square meters,” said Vladimir Efimov.
Under the renovation program, city residents receive housing with improved layouts — spacious corridors and kitchens. The apartments are handed over ready for occupancy with finished interiors, so you can move in immediately without additional time and effort spent on repairs. The area around the houses is landscaped and greened.
“In Zelenograd, 34 objects of the old housing stock have been included in the ongoing renovation program, of which 17 buildings have already been completely resettled, and another six houses are in the process of being resettled. The city transfers new buildings whose first floors are intended for the opening of social and household service enterprises. Usually, these include the most in-demand stores by residents, goods pickup points, medical centers, children’s play areas, and studios,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Urban Policy.
Earlier, the Mayor of Moscow said that in August the capital launched the second phase of the factory for manufacturing prefabricated structures for the accelerated construction of residential buildings, including within the framework of the renovation program.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and provides for the relocation of 5,176 buildings. Sergey Sobyanin instructed to increase the pace of implementation renovation programs twice as much.
