Beijing, September 3 /Xinhua/ — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China on Thursday urged the Republic of Korea /ROK/ to firmly uphold its political commitments and implement the One-China principle in practice through concrete actions.
The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, Guo Jiakun, made the corresponding statement after the Chinese curator group announced its withdrawal from participation in the biennale in the South Korean city of Gwangju as a firm protest against the organizers’ erroneous actions regarding Taiwan.

He stated that China strongly opposes this and has already made a serious representation to the Republic of Korea, demanding that the relevant party immediately correct these erroneous actions.
