Beijing, September 3 /Xinhua/ — Electricity supply has been restored in the central area of the Gui’long border checkpoint ravaged by a mudslide in the Xizang Autonomous Region /Southwest China/. This was reported on Thursday by the State Grid Corporation of China /SGCC/.
Despite the risks associated with landslides and frequent rockfalls, the frontline workers carried out restoration work around the clock and by 8:00 PM on Thursday had restored the temporary power lines in the central checkpoint area, the GECC reported.
