Vladivostok, September 3 /Xinhua/ — China is ready to work together with Russia to deeply implement the important agreements of the heads of state, continuously deepen and expand practical cooperation in the field of investment. This was stated on Thursday by Vice Premier of the State Council of China Ding Xuexiang.
Ding Xuesong, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, made the corresponding statement while co-chairing the 13th meeting of the China-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Investment Cooperation together with the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov in Vladivostok.
Din Xuexiang noted that it is extremely important to strengthen planning and political leadership, to thoroughly implement the coordination of industries and the promotion of projects, as well as to jointly support enterprises on both sides in continuously deepening and enhancing the productivity of investment cooperation.
According to him, China and Russia need to facilitate the implementation and successful outcomes of key projects, effectively utilize their exemplary role, consistently expand the scope, and enhance the level of interstate investment cooperation.
The Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC called on both sides to expand and deepen cooperation, further strengthen collaboration in sectors such as manufacturing and infrastructure construction, as well as to intensify practical cooperation in areas such as green industries and the digital economy.
Din Xuesheng also pointed out that efforts should be made to eliminate the most prominent difficulties and problems, properly address the practical concerns of enterprises on both sides, and jointly create an even more favorable business environment.
D. Manturov, for his part, stated that the Russian side is ready together with China, under the strategic leadership of the heads of state, to fully engage the guiding and coordinating role of the Russian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Investment Cooperation.
He pointed out that Russia will take measures to address the concerns of Chinese companies, continue to create comfortable and predictable conditions for their further investment and commercial activities in the country, and at the same time consistently promote the implementation of key projects so that the results of cooperation bring more benefits to both countries and their peoples. –0–
