The First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, Sergey Kiriyenko, called the inclusion of the specialty “Youth Work Organization” among the new directions of the “I am a Professional” Olympiad a particularly significant event in the new season. The organizer of this direction is the State University of Management (SUM).
Sergey Vladilenovich noted that the effectiveness of implementing state policy in the upbringing of new generations of Russian citizens largely depends on the quality of training of students who have chosen the new direction.
Students of any specialties can participate – from public and municipal administration and economics to pedagogy, psychology, and communications. It is important here to be able to combine management skills, communication with people, and project work. Specialized experience is not required; the main thing is the desire to immerse yourself in the topic and be ready to take responsibility for your decisions.
During the “I am a Professional” Olympiad, participants will test their skills in solving tasks closely related to real work situations, get acquainted with modern approaches in project management and social initiatives, and also have the opportunity to find like-minded people, join the community of the field, and win a cash prize of up to 300,000 rubles.

The “Youth Work Organization” direction is implemented by the State University of Management together with Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity,” the All-Russian student project “Your Move,” and Sberbank.
Let us recall that last year, GUU student Aidar Minaev became a medalist of the All-Russian Student Olympiad “I am a Professional” in the field of “Creative Industries.” Over all the seasons of the project, more than 1.4 million students have uniquely participated in the Olympiad, and over 28,000 diploma recipients of the competition gained the right to preferential admission to the country’s leading universities.
