If you are interested in the socio-political life of the country, do not miss the chance to showcase your knowledge at the All-Russian Vladimir Zhirinovsky Student Paper Competition, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the LDPR political party.
Undergraduate, specialist, and master’s students from universities in Russia, CIS countries, and the BRICS association in the following fields of study are eligible to participate: Oriental and African studies, foreign regional studies, international relations, political science, public policy and social sciences, law, history, as well as advertising and public relations.
The competition consists of three stages:
- The regional qualifying stage is held remotely until September 30 in the form of online testing on issues of parliamentarianism in Russia and foreign countries. Scoring 70 points is enough to successfully pass this stage.
- The federal qualifying stage is a scientific article competition with a length of 10,000 to 15,000 characters and will take place from October 1 to November 1, 2026. A mandatory condition is the use of published scientific works by V.V. Zhirinovsky or an analytical approach to his public activities—speeches and interviews. The works are evaluated by a jury composed of representatives from the faculty of RSUH and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization of Higher Education “V.V. Zhirinovsky University of World Civilizations.”
- The final stage of the competition will take place from December 9 to 11, 2026, in Moscow in the format of in-person scientific presentations, which participants will deliver in specialized sections before the jury members.
As a result of the selection, 120 winners of the federal qualifying stage will be invited to Moscow, articles from 40 participants will be included in a special collection, and the ten best papers will be published in journals from the VAK list. In addition, the winners will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes.
The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian State University for the Humanities.
