Yes, such a transfer is possible. If the receiving depository is a broker, it is sufficient for the transfer that the broker recognizes the depositor as a qualified investor. The receiving depository will also have grounds for crediting the securities if the investor provides information confirming such status on the date of acquisition of the securities or a report from the broker through whom the transferred securities were previously acquired. Documents confirming the acquisition of securities through universal succession, conversion, including in the case of reorganization, or distribution of the assets of a liquidated legal entity are also acceptable.

We recommend submitting the necessary documents or confirming your status as a qualified investor in advance, before the transfer of securities. If the receiving depository does not have this information at the time of receiving the transfer request, it will refuse to credit the securities.
