The structure includes five identical rectangular basins lined with dark red granite. In each of them, 45 vertical water jets shoot up.
Specialists will remove contaminants using brushes, then thoroughly treat the bowls, parapets, and exterior engineering communications with a cleaning agent. A crew of five people and a wash-watering machine will be involved in the work.
In total, more than two thousand sites in the capital will be cleaned as part of the preparations for City Day. These include bridges, tunnels, underground and above-ground pedestrian crossings, embankments, piers, fountains, and monuments.
