On the Moscow River Embankment in the area of the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge, an open-air painting session by the Bogorodskoe Gallery will take place for City Day. The session will be led by Sergey Filitov, a member of the Moscow Regional Organization of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Participants will be able to observe the master’s work and create their own cityscape. As the subject, they can choose the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge, the Moskva River, the surrounding architecture, or other details of the capital’s environment.
During the plein air session, the artist will share professional techniques for working outdoors and help participants convey the characteristics of the chosen subject. The finished study can be taken home.
Materials and tools for work must be brought independently.
