An interactive program will be held at the Ilya Glazunov Gallery for City Day. Participants will get acquainted with the still life genre in the artist’s work, the features of his painting style, and the technique of plastilinography.
The meeting will take place in the exhibition halls next to the originals of the works “Still Life” and “Shell”. Guests will be told about the pastose painting technique that Ilya Glazunov repeatedly used in his works. Participants will try to convey its characteristic voluminous strokes using plasticine. In the practical part, visitors will create their own work inspired by the painter’s works.
