Monolithic works have been completed in the building in the LMS settlement of the Troitsky Administrative Okrug of the capital, which will combine a school for 1,200 students and a preschool department for 250 places. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
“In the Voronovo area, the construction of an educational complex with an area of over 25,000 square meters is underway. The project aims to create a comfortable educational environment for children of all ages — the facility is designed for 1,200 schoolchildren and 250 kindergarten pupils. The architectural appearance of the building will be distinguished by expressiveness and thoughtful solutions. The facades will be made using a ventilated curtain wall system, combining cladding of metal cassettes and porcelain stoneware in white and gray tones. Currently, monolithic work has already been completed, and rough finishing is in progress,” noted Vladimir Efimov.
The facade will be decorated with three-dimensional 3D panels painted in green, red, blue, turquoise, and orange colors. The interior space is organized according to the principles of a modern educational environment, including openness, multifunctionality, and transformability.
“In addition to regular classrooms, the educational complex will feature specialized teaching rooms, as well as foreign language and computer science classrooms with movable partitions. Furthermore, a multifunctional space with adjustable lighting will be equipped, to be used as an assembly and conference hall, media library, sports area with transformable halls, choreography and gymnastics halls,” noted the head of the Department of Civil Construction of the city of Moscow.
The preschool department will include 10 groups for children. In addition, it will house music and gym halls, as well as a room for developmental activities with the possibility of zoning using a transformable partition.
High-quality wear-resistant materials are used for finishing the interior spaces. Porcelain stoneware tiles and design PVC tiles are used for floor coverings, while special parquet is used in sports halls. For ceilings, acoustic suspended panels, grilyato systems, aluminum, and slatted structures have been chosen.
The adjacent area will be improved and divided into functional spaces: playgrounds for different age groups, a sports zone, quiet rest areas, and places for school-wide events. Landscaping, installation of small architectural forms, and shade canopies are planned.
