The government continues to create conditions for the development of compressed natural gas refueling infrastructure – one of the most environmentally friendly types of fuel, allowing a significant reduction in harmful emissions into the atmosphere, and the conversion of car fleets from traditional types of fuel to natural gas. A decree has been signed expanding the parameters of state support in this area.

The speech deals with the provision of subsidies to organizations and individual entrepreneurs for the implementation of investment projects for the construction of gas filling stations. The new decree increases the amount of such a subsidy from 36 million rubles to 50 million rubles.

In addition, the list of subsidized types of expenses has been supplemented by the acquisition of mobile automotive gas refuelers and the construction of stationary sites for their use. This will expand the possibilities of refueling in territories remote from the transportation and distribution infrastructure of natural gas.

This resolution also increases the maximum amount of state support provided to citizens and organizations for the re-equipment of passenger and freight vehicles, public transport, and utility equipment to operate on natural gas.

Thus, for the re-equipment of passenger cars with a mass of up to 1800 kg, the subsidy amount was increased from 32 thousand to 47 thousand rubles, for those over 1801 kg – from 40 thousand to 54 thousand rubles, for those with a mass of 2500 kg and above – from 49 thousand to 57 thousand rubles. For the re-equipment of buses up to 8 meters, the size of state support was increased from 74 thousand to 90 thousand rubles, for those over 8 meters – from 130 thousand to 150 thousand rubles. For the remotorization of heavy trucks for the use of CNG, up to 1.5 million rubles. At the same time, for citizens and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, a double increasing coefficient applies, that is, the maximum subsidy amount is multiplied by 2.

Increasing the efficiency of mechanisms for subsidizing gas refueling infrastructure and re-equipping automotive technology is provided for in the action plan for implementation.Concepts for the development of the gas engine fuel market for the period up to 2035.
