Order dated April 10, 2026 No. 797-r
In 2026, regions will continue to receive federal funding for the implementation of measures on the informatization of healthcare systems. The resolution on the rules for providing interbudgetary transfers for these purposes and the order on the allocation of 10 billion rubles were signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.
Funds are distributed among 84 regions. They allow ensuring the operation of further interaction of regional and municipal medical organizations’ information systems with the services of the state information system of mandatory medical insurance and the unified state information system in the field of healthcare, as well as the implementation of electronic document management, including with the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
This is indispensable for the coordinated operation of healthcare systems for injury, including ensuring doctor house calls and patient appointments at medical institutions through the public services portal, the formation of sick leave certificates, prescriptions, discharge summaries, certificates, and referrals in electronic form. Currently, these capabilities and a number of other highly demanded services are used by more than a third of citizens.
“We expect that these measures will help increase the efficiency of the healthcare system, reduce the administrative burden on doctors, and allow patients to receive necessary assistance more quickly, and everywhere they live,” noted Mikhail Mishustin atGovernment meeting on April 9.
