Almost 920 residents began the phased inspection of apartments in the new building on Yunykh Lenintsev Street by renovation program. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“In the Kuzminki district, a new building at 40a Yunykh Lenintsev Street has been handed over for occupancy. It became the 25th residential complex to be inhabited in the district. About 920 residents from four old houses located on Yunykh Lenintsev Street and Volzhsky Boulevard will move here. In total, under the current renovation program in the Kuzminki district, 287 old housing stock houses are to be resettled, and more than 64 thousand residents will receive new apartments,” said Vladimir Yefimov.
On the first non-residential floor of the building, social and everyday infrastructure facilities will open in the future: pharmacies, shops, cafes, and leisure centers.
“There are 425 apartments in the new building on Yunykh Lenintsev Street. They have spacious kitchens, wide corridors, and finished renovations already done according to the standards of the renovation program. New residents won’t need to spend time and effort on finishing work. The residential complex territory has been made barrier-free: at the entrances to the stairwells, in the lobbies, and elevator halls there are no stairs or thresholds. This makes moving around the building convenient for all residents, including people with limited mobility. To ensure the resettlement of Muscovites into new apartments is comfortable, they are provided with free movers and transportation. The service “Moving Assistance” can be ordered on the mos.ru portal or at the resettlement information center. The new building was constructed in an area with developed urban infrastructure: nearby are educational and medical institutions, a shopping and entertainment center, stores, as well as the museum-reserve “Kuzminki-Lyublino.” In addition, the “Kuzminki” metro station is within walking distance from the residential complex,” clarified the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Urban Development Policy.
