From September 8 to 12, enthusiasts of an active lifestyle and professional sports are invited to a series of major competitions that will take place in the capital.
The program includes the anniversary Olympic Champions Cup in canoe and kayak racing, thrilling quad bike and ATV races, extreme sports competitions at the BMX velodrome, as well as a three-on-three basketball tournament. All events are free to attend.
The 10th anniversary AAACUP Olympic Champions Cup will take place at the Rowing Canal in Krylatskoye from September 8 to 12. Participants and spectators can expect sprint distances on kayaks and canoes, team races, relays, as well as separate starts for children and family teams.
September 11 and 12 the third will take place at the BMX velodrome “Maryinsky” Moscow Sports Cup, organized by the capital city Department of Sports. More than 500 enthusiasts and professionals, including children aged three and older, will participate in the extreme sports competitions.
On the first day of the competition, balance bike races will be held for toddlers aged three to four, and bicycle races for children aged five to six. The next day, September 12, competitions will take place in the Olympic cycling discipline BMX — the “Classic” race, where participants in the Pro category from seven years old and amateurs over 18 years old will compete for victory.
September 12 The quad bike track “Formula 7” will host the second stage cross-country and mud racing competitions on motorcycles within the framework of races on quad bikes and all-terrain motorcycles F7 Challenge. Event guests will see thrilling competition and the skill of professional pilots on challenging sections of the track.
September 12 Traditional games of the three-on-three basketball tournament will be held in the landscape park “Krylatskie Hills” “Orange Ball”. The competitions will bring together teams of different age groups on open sports grounds.
Citizens are invited to attend the competitions and support the participants. Admission for spectators is free.
