As part of the renovation program, the city has transferred nine land plots for the construction of residential buildings and accompanying infrastructure. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“The renovation program has been implemented in the capital for nine years now. During this time, thousands of Muscovites have been provided with more comfortable living conditions. When designing and constructing renovation houses, great attention is also paid to creating a convenient surrounding environment: children’s and sports playgrounds, rest areas, access roads, and car-free yards. For the construction of modern housing and accompanying infrastructure, the city allocated nine land plots with a total area of over 5.5 hectares in July. New buildings will appear in four administrative districts,” said Vladimir Efimov.
All new buildings are constructed according to individual designs. The apartments in them feature improved layouts: spacious kitchens and wide corridors. Special attention is paid to a barrier-free environment in the design. Entrance doors and elevator lobbies are located on the same level, without steps, and the entrances are made as spacious as possible.
“More than a third of the land allocated for the implementation of the renovation program objectives in July falls within the Western Administrative Okrug — two plots totaling more than 2.1 hectares. Over 1.5 hectares have been provided in the southwest of the capital and more than 1.2 hectares in the east. Two plots totaling 0.6 hectares have also been allocated for the program’s implementation in the north of Moscow,” she reported
