In August, construction is in full swing on the northern and southern slopes of the Tien Shan in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

Since September 2025, Liugong, together with local dealers, has been conducting regular maintenance of railway construction equipment, ensuring uninterrupted construction of tunnels and bridges in the mountains. “The arrival of a Chinese company in my homeland gave me not just a stable job,” says Marcel Chokojev, a local young specialist who joined the Liugong team in Kyrgyzstan in February 2026. According to him, when he first started working at the company, he knew almost nothing about construction machinery, but after just six months he mastered the main machine structures and was able to independently advise local clients on basic issues.
“The Chinese mentors hide nothing from me and teach me everything. During our time working together, we have become friends. Here, I have not only gained real professional skills but also understood what sincere friendship without borders means,” said Chokoeyev.
As he became more proficient with the technology, his interaction with Chinese colleagues, whom he communicated with in Chinese, became increasingly coordinated. When Chinese specialists analyzed equipment malfunctions, he helped convey their technical recommendations to local clients and dealers; when local clients reported on the condition of the equipment, he accurately and thoroughly informed the Chinese colleagues about the actual operating conditions, equipment characteristics, and customer preferences.
From language knowledge to technical knowledge — this young guy from Kyrgyzstan is forging his path of growth by working with technology, providing services, and interacting with people.
Batches of Chinese equipment are delivered to sites — from railway lines to high-altitude mines, where the machinery is promptly put into operation. As the scope of equipment use expands, the company strengthens its presence in the local market and broadens its operational boundaries.
Liugong equipment is an important part of Kyrgyzstan’s urban infrastructure modernization plan. The machinery is used in areas such as road repair, urban construction, environmental protection, and maintenance of public facilities, providing reliable and efficient technical support for city services.
Liugong’s practice is not an isolated case. Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) has established a subsidiary in Kyrgyzstan, implementing a strategic market modernization through localization of operations.
