In the parks of Moscow, under the jurisdiction of the capital Department of Culture, from August 28 to 30, there will be a program for the whole family. Guests are invited to participate in festivals, attend concerts, join a friendly run, and other events within the project “Summer in Moscow”.
Historical festival and friendly run
From August 28 to 30, at the Krasnogvardeyskie Ponds recreation area, it will begin at 8:00 PM water lantern festival. From 16:00 to 18:00 at the address: Uglichskaya Street, building 11, structure 1, a karaoke program will take place “Voices of the Park”, within which everyone will be able to perform their favorite songs. A walk in the park and useful lectures
At the Vorontsovo estate, within Vorontsovsky Park, a tour will be organized on August 29 at 12:00. “Gifts of Autumn”. Participants will go for a walk along the park trails, learn which fruits and berries ripen at this time of year and which of them can be used as food. Visitors will also be introduced to the history of the estate greenhouse and told what was grown there during the nobility era. Entry by registration.
On August 30 at 3:00 PM, an educational lecture will take place in Vorontsovsky Park “Vorontsovo in the Mirror of Architecture”, during which the listeners will learn to read ancient architecture like an open book and discover the secrets of one of the most beautiful and mysterious estates. Entry by registration. At 16:00, a concert of three harps will take place in the eastern wing “Northern Legends”. The first part will feature ancient ballads from Ireland and Scandinavia, dance rhythms, melancholic songs, and heroic marches — live music that echoed around Viking campfires and under the vaults of stone castles. On August 29, from 12:00 to 18:00, a festival will take place at the N.N. Pryamikov Children’s Park “Art Glade” — the fifth, anniversary event of creative studios and leisure centers of the capital. It will include interactive activities for children and a presentation of educational programs for parents, which will help consciously choose extracurricular activities. Admission is free.
In the Severnoe Tushino park on the same day from 15:00 to 19:00, an event will take place in the central square “I live in the glorious Northern Tushino!”. Muscovites and visitors to the capital will be able to participate in an animation and gaming program and creative workshops, as well as get face painting, take photos with life-sized puppets, and listen to a concert. On August 30, a lecture will take place in the “Sokolniki” park, in the pavilion near the “Lilac” cafe, from 11:00 to 13:00 “A Letter to Myself: What Has Changed Over the Summer”. Visitors will discuss how to notice their own changes and not devalue them. Admission is free. At 17:00, there will be an instrumental performance in the gazebo of the large rose garden concert, the program of which will include both modern hits and classic compositions. In the Mitino landscape park, on August 30 from 14:00 to 17:00, the third dance olympiad will take place on the round wooden platform “Wider circle!” for participants of the “silver” age. About 30 creative collectives will present vibrant dance performances. Admission is free.
At the Kuskovo estate, on August 30 at 14:00, a master class will be held in the cottages of “Dachnoe Kuskovo” “Estate Album”, whose participants will create their own picture using the sgraffito technique. City residents will get acquainted with the art materials, try scratching an image onto the prepared surface, and create a creative work inspired by the atmosphere of the old manor.
