The sports facility “Patriot” invites Muscovites to an open house day. It will take place on September 6 at the district center “Meeting Place ‘Patriot'” (4 Salyam Adil Street).
The program includes presentations of sections and training sessions. From 12:00 to 17:00, training sessions in various sports will take place, and depending on the discipline, both adults and children will be able to participate. Participants can practice padel, squash, stretching, Latin dances, sambo, judo, hand-to-hand combat, ballroom dances according to the European program, general physical training, and tennis under the guidance of professional coaches. Sessions will be held every hour, each lasting 30 minutes.
For children, the organizers prepared a sports quest, and adult participants can look forward to a sports lottery.
Participation in the open house program is free, by prior registration. After the event, it will be possible to apply for enrollment in the section you like.
Currently, there are seven sports zones in “Patriot.” There are courts for tennis and padel, a squash court, rooms for martial arts, fitness, and group programs, as well as an area for table tennis.
There are sections for adults in padel, squash, tennis, hand-to-hand combat, stretching, and Latin dance (solo). For children from five years old, groups are open for tennis, general physical training, sambo, judo, and ballroom dancing. All classes are conducted by professional coaches.
The Open Day is organized by the capital city Department of Sports, the event aligns with the objectives of the state programs of the Russian Federation “Development of Physical Culture and Sports” and “Sport of Russia”. One of the goals is to increase the share of citizens who regularly engage in physical culture and sports to 70 percent by 2030. The capital makes a defining contribution to solving this task. Special attention is paid to the close proximity of infrastructure to homes, support for families with children, as well as the integration of participants and veterans of the special military operation and their family members into the sports community.
