On August 26, the final of the “Professionals” professional skills championship in 14 competencies of the industrial sector concluded in Kaluga. The organizer is the Ministry of Education with the support of the Government of Russia, the federal operator is the Institute for the Development of Professional Education, and the regional organizer is the Kaluga region.

In total, the final brought together more than 15,000 people from 30 countries – participants of competitions, the business program, exhibitions, and career guidance events.

The “Professionals” Championship opens up broad opportunities for participants. Winners and finalists, as well as their mentors, receive prizes established by the Government of Russia, ranging from 100 thousand to 300 thousand rubles – depending on the place achieved.

One of the key advantages of participating in the championship is the opportunity to undergo internships and gain employment with employers partnering in the competition. The “Professionals” movement is supported by more than 10,000 companies and enterprises. In 2026, employers have already offered contestants over 50,000 internships and job openings.

Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov congratulated the winners and prize-winners, thanked the teachers and mentors of the finalists, and the leaders of companies supporting the ‘Professionals’ movement.

The final of the “Professionals” championship in industrial competencies was held for the second time at the Federal Vocational Education Technopark in Kaluga.

“It is a great honor for us to host such a significant and large-scale event, to witness the successes of future and young professionals who come to us not only from all over Russia but also from countries friendly to us. I sincerely admire the skill of the participants. The tasks were difficult, as close to production practice as possible, and overcoming them is a real achievement. Representatives of the employers took part in the solemn award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the final.

The “Professionals” Championship is the largest professional skills competition in Russia. The list of competencies is formed in accordance with the demands of the real economic sector. In 2026, the championship final will be held in three cities (Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, Saint Petersburg).
