City residents received apartments with improved finishing in 54 new buildings located in nine districts of the district. Since the first floors of these buildings are allocated for social and everyday facilities, the implementation of the program makes the district development more thoughtful and comfortable. Shops, pharmacies, educational and medical centers, cafes, and other service enterprises, as well as city organizations, are opening in the residential complexes.
“Only in 2026 did more than two thousand participants of the renovation program become homeowners in new buildings in the southwest of the capital. In total, citizens from 35 old houses are currently in the process of resettlement in the district. At all stages — from inspecting the offered apartments to signing contracts — the future residents are accompanied by department specialists. They work in information centers on the ground floors of residential complexes while the move-in is ongoing,” she added

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It provides for the relocation from 5,176 buildings. The Mayor of Moscow ordered to increase the pace of implementation of the renovation program in twice.
