Moscow city services continue to restore social facilities and public spaces in Luhansk and Donetsk. This was reported by Sergey Sobyanin on his channel on in the “Max” messenger.
“In Luhansk, metropolitan specialists are landscaping a park in the very heart of the city. They are putting terraces, stairs, and retaining walls in order, as well as small architectural forms and paths. They are installing energy-saving street lighting. Completion of the work is planned for September,” the Mayor of Moscow wrote.

By the end of 2026, the first phase of the major renovation of the century-old Palace of Culture will be completed. The load-bearing structures, roof, and facade will be restored here, windows, engineering networks, and security systems will be replaced.
“This year in Donetsk, we are reviving a park with an area of 16.5 hectares. It is planned to create walking zones, rest areas, children’s and sports grounds, a rope town,” Sergey Sobyanin added.
Moscow city services also carry out road repairs. In Luhansk, work has been completed on Budyonny Street and adjacent sections — the total length of the repaired roads amounted to 7.5 kilometers. In Donetsk, in 2026, 10 road infrastructure objects were repaired: carriageways and sidewalks.
