The Moscow-based plant “Lambumiz,” one of the leading domestic manufacturers of packaging materials for the food industry, has increased the utilization of its production capacity for cardboard packaging for dairy products since the end of July. Earlier, with the assistance of the Moscow Fund for Industrial and Entrepreneurial Support, the enterprise acquired new modern equipment for the production of corrugated paper and cardboard. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. Anatoly Garbuzov.
“The city provides active support to high-tech enterprises aimed at expanding and modernizing capacities. For instance, the capital’s company has reached an increased level of cardboard packaging production for milk. ‘Lambumiz’ supplies it to more than 200 dairy plants across Russia and other CIS countries. Thanks to developed logistics, the products are now available on store shelves from Kaliningrad to Blagoveshchensk. Export deliveries to neighboring countries are also growing. The support of the Moscow fund played an important role in expanding production capabilities,” noted Anatoly Garbuzov.
Based on the results of the first six months, the enterprise continued to increase the production and shipment of key products. The growth in volumes is associated with stable demand for traditional packaging and the expansion of the product line.
This year, the plant also entered a new market for itself by starting commercial deliveries of aseptic packaging. With this technology, the product and packaging are sterilized separately and then combined under sterile conditions. In just the second quarter, the enterprise shipped 616 thousand units of such packaging. Additionally, the production of disposable potato-based tableware is growing at a double-digit rate.
Previously, Sergey Sobyanin told, that in the first half of the year, with the assistance of the Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship, metropolitan enterprises attracted about 55 billion rubles in investment loans for the expansion of production facilities and the purchase of new equipment.
Program investment lending The Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship provides for a compensation of the interest rate at 50 percent of the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The maximum support period is five years, and the maximum amount subject to compensation is five billion rubles.
