1 When determining the maximum interest rate for each credit institution:
– the maximum deposit rates available to any client (including potential ones) without restrictions and preliminary conditions are taken into account. Deposits for designated categories of clients (pensioners, children) and for specific purposes (social and humanitarian purposes, etc.) are not considered;
– interest rates with capitalization of interest on the deposit are not taken into account;
– rates that apply only upon meeting certain conditions (regular turnover on a bank card, a permanent minimum balance on the bank card, etc.) are not taken into account;
– combined deposits are not considered
these products, i.e., deposits with additional conditions. Such additional conditions for accruing a higher interest rate may include, for example, purchasing investment units for a certain amount, opening an investment account, enrolling in an investment or life insurance savings program, subscribing to an additional service package, and so on;
– deposits with terms divided into periods with different rates are not considered.
The indicator of the average maximum interest rate is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the maximum interest rates of 10 credit institutions.
