First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov visited the Republic of Belarus on a working visit, where he was received by the President of the country, Alexander Lukashenko. The head of the republic awarded the First Deputy Prime Minister the Order of Friendship of Peoples.
According to decrees previously signed by the President of Belarus, the Order of Friendship of Peoples was awarded to the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin – for his significant personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between Belarus and Russia, Denis Manturov – for his significant personal contribution to the development of trade and economic relations, industrial and military-technical cooperation between the two countries, and the strengthening of the technological sovereignty of the Union State.
Alexander Lukashenko and Denis Manturov discussed priority projects and areas of trade and industrial cooperation. By the end of 2025, the turnover between Russia and Belarus grew by approximately 3%. This year, positive dynamics continue: in the first six months alone, the volume of bilateral trade increased by 12.5%.
Denis Manturov emphasized that a significant share of the trade turnover consists of industrial products — nearly 65% last year. At the same time, according to the First Deputy Prime Minister, the relations between the two countries are not limited to trade and also develop through close cooperative ties.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Turchin. The parties, in particular, discussed cooperation in aircraft manufacturing, automobile production, and special equipment manufacturing. Special attention was given to the implementation of import-substitution investment projects and the expansion of mutual access for Russian and Belarusian enterprises to government support instruments within the framework of the Union State.
