In the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts, a campaign is underway to conclude and bring into compliance with new requirements agreements for the maintenance of gas equipment. Having such an agreement is a mandatory condition for receiving the communal service of gas supply. Homeowners who do not have this agreement need to conclude it with PJSC Mosgaz. JSC “Mosgaz” is the main gas distribution organization (GDO) of the capital. More than 90 percent of subscribers are connected to its networks. Owners who have signed a maintenance contract with an outside company (not being a GDO) need to renew it. Existing contracts with such organizations will be valid until December 31, 2026.
The corresponding amendments have been made to the Federal Law “On Gas Supply in the Russian Federation”, the Housing Code of the Russian Federation, and the rules for gas use. The purpose of the amendments is to ensure the safe operation of gas equipment and the timely elimination of identified violations, as well as to establish control over compliance with established requirements.
In the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts, it is estimated that about 30,000 contracts will need to be formalized with private homeowners.
AO “Mosgaz” has decided to focus its main efforts on signing contracts during in-person visits at the office. For the convenience of citizens, the subscriber department operates at the address: Troitsk, Dalnyaya Street, building 1. The department is open Monday through Thursday and on Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, and on Friday and Sunday from 08:00 to 15:45.

To draw up the contract, you will need a passport, an extract from the USRN confirming ownership, passports for the gas-using equipment. If the documents are not available, photographs of the equipment indicating the brand and specifications will suffice. Payment for maintenance services is made by cashless method. When applying in person, document processing takes from 15 minutes and is done on the day of the visit, whereas if the application is submitted online, it is additionally necessary to visit the office to sign the contract and make the payment.

In the absence of a contract for maintenance of gas equipment, the supplier has the right to suspend the gas supply, and the owner may be held administratively liable. To resume gas supply, it is necessary to conclude a contract for the maintenance of in-house gas equipment and compensate the gas distribution company for the costs of disconnection and subsequent reconnection.
