The installation of monolithic structures and roofing has been completed in the kindergarten under construction in Shcherbinka. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction. Vladimir Yefimov.
“The readiness of the 200-place kindergarten, which will appear in the Shcherbinka district, is 60 percent. Currently, the monolithic and roofing works have been fully completed, window units have been installed, and external engineering communications have been laid. The builders have started facade finishing, installation of internal engineering networks, and at the same time, landscaping of the adjacent territory is underway. After commissioning, the facility will become part of the Moscow city education system,” Vladimir Efimov said.
Great attention will be paid to the architectural appearance of the building and the landscaping of the territory. The facades will be finished with light mineral plaster with a silicone paint topcoat, as well as ceramic tiles of several colors.
“The kindergarten building is a three-story structure with one underground floor. The total area of the facility is nearly four thousand square meters. There are eight groups planned for the little ones, which will be divided by age. In addition to them, the kindergarten will house multifunctional music and physical education halls, as well as a medical unit with a treatment room and a full-cycle food unit,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy
Moscow City State Construction Supervision Committee monitors the developer’s fulfillment of obligations at all stages of the project’s implementation, including the provision of social infrastructure for the new buildings.
Head of the agency Anton Slobodchikov noted that the committee has been overseeing the construction of the kindergarten building since January 2024. Seven site visits have already been conducted. Specialists have checked the quality of the erected structures and the materials used for compliance with the approved project documentation.
Almost half of the plot area free from construction will be occupied by green spaces. Individual playgrounds will be arranged for each group. In addition, the kindergarten territory will feature a sports area, a place for storing strollers and sleds.
