Moscow shares the best practices in the field of education with the regions. This was stated on their channel in the “Max” messenger reported Sergey Sobyanin.
“The capital’s education system is actively disseminating its best practices across the country. Teacher training is conducted by the Corporate University of Moscow Education and the Moscow City Pedagogical University,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

The “Mutual Learning of Cities” project of the Corporate University of Moscow Education has been implemented since 2017. During its operation, over 490 thousand teachers from the regions have participated in more than 2.6 thousand educational intensives. About 40 events have been held over 10 years, at which effective management and pedagogical practices were presented.
In addition, Moscow hosted delegations from more than 40 Russian regions, including Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Republic of Khakassia, and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Theory and Practice of Pre-Professional Education” is being held at the Moscow City University of Education (MGPU). Over two years, more than five thousand participants from Moscow and 18 regions of Russia have taken part in it.
In 2025, the capital launched the advanced training program “Best Educational Practices of Moscow’s Innovative Schools.” It has already been completed by 120 teachers and heads of educational institutions.
In addition, specialists at MGPU have created simulation trainers with remote access. They allow for practicing a wide range of professional tasks — from making managerial decisions to building communication with parents and teenagers.
“All formats of interaction are available to educators from the regions: they can come to a metropolitan school for an internship, join a webinar, receive an online consultation, or complete a course on a simulator trainer. This makes our educational practices accessible for the professional growth of teachers and administrators from any part of Russia,” noted Sergey Sobyanin.
