Beijing, August 24 /Xinhua/ — Wang Huning, Chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), held a meeting on Monday in Beijing with American delegates participating in the 3rd China-US “one-and-a-half track” dialogue.
Wan Huning, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, reminded that in May of this year, Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump, who was visiting China, had in-depth communication on important issues concerning Sino-American relations and peace and development around the world.

Representatives of the American side, in turn, noted that relations between the United States and China are currently experiencing a special moment, adding that good relations between the heads of the two states are the most valuable and important part of bilateral ties. The American side agrees that the parties should jointly implement the agreements on building constructive strategic stability relations between the two countries, encourage cooperation between enterprises, strengthen cultural and humanitarian exchanges, prevent risks, including those related to artificial intelligence, to benefit both countries and the entire world, the delegates added. –0–
