Specialists urban management complex They are laying a pipeline in Kosino-Ukhtomsky. It will increase the throughput capacity of the gas supply system of the Nekrasovka district heating station.
The project is aimed at enhancing the reliability and safety of the urban gas distribution network. During its preparation, specialists thoroughly studied the area. They took into account all the features of the terrain, soils, and existing infrastructure. A new pipeline with a diameter of 720 millimeters is being installed from durable steel. Domestic materials are used during the work.
“A set of modern technologies is used in the construction of the gas pipeline, allowing the work to be carried out as efficiently as possible under urban development conditions. The total length of the facility will exceed three kilometers. The pipeline laying is carried out in stages, and currently, the readiness is at 20 percent,” said Mikhail Vdovin, General Director of JSC Mosgaz.
Pipeline installation is carried out using open and closed methods. On nine complex sections, rotary-auger drilling and microtunneling are planned. Trenchless technologies ensure strict compliance of the gas pipeline with design parameters, as well as allow the existing infrastructure to be preserved.
The new pipeline will be remotely controllable. It will be equipped with modern shut-off devices with electric drives, capable of shutting off the pipe within one and a half minutes after receiving a command from the central dispatch of JSC “Mosgaz”.
The city continues to develop the gas supply system of the capital. Modern engineering networks meet the current needs of utility companies, industrial facilities, and housing, while also creating the necessary reserve for sustainable energy supply in the future.
The projects being implemented in the city to modernize and improve the reliability of the utility infrastructure are in line with the goals and objectives of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
