Service online recordings The appointment system for pets at state veterinary clinics has been operating on mos.ru for seven years and helps Muscovites schedule their pets’ visits to specialists. The most frequent visitors to city veterinary clinics remain cats and dogs. At the same time, cat owners book appointments with veterinarians online about 70 thousand times annually.
“This year, through the digital service, Muscovites have already registered their cats for veterinary specialist appointments more than 35,000 times. According to the online booking statistics, the most popular cat name this year was Musya, with Busya, Kuzya, Simba, and Alisa also in the top five. Among breeds, the top three popular in Moscow are Siamese, Scottish Fold, and British Shorthair cats. More than 35 veterinary services are available in the online booking service across 24 city clinics. These include initial consultation, vaccination, microchipping, surgical and dental services, clinical diagnostic and laboratory tests, as well as issuance of veterinary accompanying documents.
To choose the appropriate appointment, it is necessary to specify the type and name of the animal, the required service, the specialist, location, and time. Clinics available for booking are displayed on an interactive map. Additionally, a pet can be scheduled for specialized procedures, including ultrasound and radiological examinations, electrocardiogram, computed tomography, and others.
As noted in the capital Department of Information Technology, you can speed up the registration process by adding information about the animal in advance to the personal account on mos.ru. For example, specify the date of birth, gender, age, chip number, or other information about the animal. Thus, during the next entry, the information will be automatically transferred to the electronic form, so it will not need to be filled out again.
If it is not possible to bring the animal to the clinic, you can leave it on mos.ru application to call a veterinarian to your home. For this, it is enough to specify the address and a convenient appointment time. At home, specialists provide a wide range of services — for example, grooming and dental procedures, minor surgical assistance, and administration of medications.
On the mos.ru portal, registration is also available for online consultations with specialists from the state veterinary clinics of Moscow. The doctors will answer questions remotely and provide recommendations on pet care, nutrition, or treatment. This format allows you to get a professional consultation while saving time on traveling to the clinic.
Veterinary electronic services for pet owners are also gathered in the super service “My Pet” on mos.ru. It contains all veterinary electronic services and resources for owners, including the pet’s outpatient card and doctors’ answers to frequently asked questions about caring for four-legged friends and their health.
Digital solutions in the field of veterinary medicine are being jointly developed by the capital city authorities State Services Committee, Veterinary Committee and Department of Information Technology.
