A unique innovation school “Skolka” operates on the territory of the Skolkovo center. It is focused on the harmonious development of personality and the formation of relevant applied competencies in students in the fields of artificial intelligence and information technologies, creative industries, biotechnology, and space exploration.
This year, the construction of the medical and diagnostic complex was completed Moscow City Oncology Hospital No. 62 and an apart-hotel for the temporary stay of medical staff, patients, and their relatives. Three special express routes were opened to the clinic: from the Voykovskaya and Strogino metro stations, as well as from the village of Istra.
In addition, the city approved a territory planning project covering more than 400 hectares. This is about 2.7 million square meters of new real estate. It will house technoparks, a medical college, R&D centers, public and business complexes, a congress and exhibition center, laboratories, and research centers.
The architectural appearance of a new technopark with an area of over 25 thousand square meters on Nobel Street was recently approved. The six-story building will house modern laboratories, coworking spaces, and multifunctional areas. The center will feature an unusual architectural design with smooth facade lines and accent elements in the form of wings. Mainly domestic materials will be used in the construction. The surrounding area will be landscaped and greened.
As part of the concession agreement, a multifunctional sports complex will appear in Skolkovo. It will house a children’s hockey school designed for 300 students.
The territory will be comprehensively improved and its transport network modernized. Filyovskaya metro line It will be extended from the “Kuntsevskaya” station to Skolkovo. The new metro section will pass through the territories of four districts — Fili-Davydkovo, Kuntsevo, Ochakovo-Matveyevskoye, and Mozhaysky, where five stations will appear.
