Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova visited the Chelyabinsk region on a working trip. The Vice Premier opened the second building of the Chelyabinsk Children’s Philharmonic named after A.A. Abdurakhmanov, a new branch of the Children’s City Clinical Polyclinic No. 8 named after A. Nevsky, visited the Regional Perinatal Center, the South Ural State Medical University, met with commanders of student squads of the All-Russian Student Medical Project “Klinika” and representatives of the Chelyabinsk regional branch of the All-Russian public movement “Volunteer Medics.” The events were attended by Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexey Teksler.
There are 126 children’s art schools operating in the Chelyabinsk region, with over 44,000 children enrolled, of whom 23,000 are in pre-professional programs in the field of arts.
The A.A. Abdurakhmanov Children’s Philharmonic is a unique educational and concert venue that has provided children and young performers with opportunities for learning, professional growth, and simultaneous involvement in the artistic process for over 40 years. It hosts nine major children’s ensembles, including a children’s and youth symphony orchestra, a pop-jazz orchestra, a Russian folk instruments ensemble, and a children’s preparatory studio at the State Academic Dance Ensemble “Ural.” More than 600 children are enrolled. The facility features an auditorium with 345 seats, two large orchestra classrooms, two small rehearsal rooms, a recording studio, and a small auditorium. The Children’s Philharmonic is a structural division of the Chelyabinsk State Philharmonic.
“By the order of the head of state Vladimir Putin, starting from 2025, a new separate direction in the national project ‘Family’ includes support for philharmonic societies. By 2030, all philharmonics in 89 regions will receive such support. Last year, major repairs were carried out in 4 philharmonics, 8 received new musical and lighting equipment. This year, funding will be provided to another 16 philharmonics. The great contribution made by creative education to the development of culture and art in our country is very important,” said Tatyana Golikova.
The new building of the Children’s Philharmonic includes 17 rehearsal spaces. Its launch will provide each ensemble with a separate orchestral hall, allowing young talents to hone their skills in an expanded format and giving a new impetus to the development of musical and choreographic groups.
Also, during the working visit, Tatyana Golikova, Mikhail Murashko, and Alexey Texler opened a branch of the A. Nevsky Children’s City Clinical Polyclinic No. 8. The polyclinic serves about 45,000 people, and the branch will provide necessary, accessible, and quality medical care to more than 5,000 young patients. It will have offices for pediatricians, emergency care, ultrasound, functional diagnostics, dentistry, as well as procedure and vaccination rooms. The branch is designed for 200 visits per shift.
“A space has been created here that is pleasant for children and conducive to providing medical care. The branch is opening as part of the primary healthcare modernization program, which started in 2021 by order of the President of the country Vladimir Putin and is currently part of the national project ‘Family.’ Since 2021, more than 4,000 primary care facilities have been created and renovated under the program, over 47,000 units of medical equipment have been put into operation, and more than 3,000 vehicles have been introduced. Special attention is given to children’s primary medical care,” noted Tatyana Golikova.
In addition, during their visit to the region, Tatyana Golikova, Mikhail Murashko, and Alexey Teksler visited the Regional Perinatal Center. It provides scheduled and emergency care to pregnant women from high-risk groups, newborns and young children, as well as women with reproductive function disorders. This year, the perinatal center will receive more than 300 units of new medical equipment through the “Maternal and Child Health Protection” program of the national project “Family”.
Continuing her working visit, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the South Ural State Medical University – the largest scientific, educational, and clinical center in the Urals, which trains medical personnel at all levels of professional education. Special attention is given to the practical training of students at the university.
At the university, Tatyana Golikova, Mikhail Murashko, and Alexey Texler met with the commanders of student squads from the All-Russian Student Medical Project “Clinic” and representatives of the Chelyabinsk regional branch of the All-Russian public movement “Medical Volunteers.” Tatyana Golikova thanked the young people for their active stance, for implementing projects throughout the country, for assistance in complex and emergency situations, and for work in primary healthcare settings. The meeting discussed issues of students’ professional development, scientific work, and state support for student families.
