Beijing, August 16 /Xinhua/ — The cremation of the body of former Premier of the State Council of China Zhu Rongji will take place on Tuesday in Beijing.
Zhu Rongji, who passed away on August 12 at the age of 98, also held the positions of member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) during the 14th and 15th terms.
On August 18, as a sign of mourning for the deceased, the national flag will be flown at half-mast on Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing.
