At the State University of Management, the educational and tourist program “University Shifts” continues, and the second day was dedicated to introducing participants to the Russian Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First”.
In an interactive game format, the kids learned about the project’s areas of activity, its values, and guidelines. Most of the participants in the session are already members of the “Movement of the First,” so their special interest was sparked by the practical opportunities for further personal development within the movement.
The central event of the day was the project session. During it, participants divided into teams and developed their own projects — from idea to full presentation. The participants worked out possible collaborations with partners, plans for implementing their projects, and shot promotional videos. The projects covered various topics: from strengthening family values and team cohesion to improving morale when needed.
At the conclusion of the project work, a defense was held during which the teams exchanged questions, engaged in discussions, improvised, and practiced public speaking skills. The projects developed by the students can be adapted for implementation in schools, colleges, universities, and subsequent sessions of the program.
The day ended with a musical quiz: participants sang karaoke, guessed familiar melodies, and danced, creating an atmosphere of informal communication and team unity, and simply had a great time with their fellow students of the “University Shifts”!
And on the second day of the program, the participants demonstrated their high engagement and readiness for active project work. Ahead of them lie eight more days of an intensive educational and cultural program!

More than 100 leading universities in Russia participate in the project, which is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Movement of the First, Rosmolodezh, and SBER.
