PJSC “Tutaev Motor Plant”, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in the Yaroslavl region, has delivered a new 8812.10 engine with a power of 653 hp to JSC “Gomselmash” (Republic of Belarus) for the FS650 forage harvester.
The 8812.10 engine is based on the “Progress” platform, the refinement and certification of which were carried out at the Scientific and Technical Center of PJSC “KAMAZ”. The main components of the “Progress” engines are a cast iron cylinder head, accumulator-type fuel equipment (Common Rail), and the M240 electronic control unit.
“Common Rail fuel equipment, due to the increased fuel injection pressure up to 1600 bar and the ability to regulate the timing and duration of fuel delivery to the cylinders depending on the engine operating mode, ensures fuel consumption and heat output at the level of competitors, with better starting qualities in the winter period.”, – noted Deputy Chief Designer of PJSC “TMZ” Alexander Shevtsov.
During 2026-2027, the 8812.10 engine as part of the FS650 forage harvester will undergo operational tests on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
